Psalms 109:9-20

9 Let his ^achildren be fatherless
And his ^bwife a widow.
10 Let his ^cchildren wander about and beg;
And let them ^dseek sustenance ^{▼▼ Or out of their desolate places}far from their ruined homes.
11 Let ^fthe creditor ^{▼▼ Lit ensnare, strike at}seize all that he has,
And let ^hstrangers plunder the product of his labor.
12 Let there be none to ^{▼▼ Lit continue
,} ^jextend lovingkindness to him,
Nor ^kany to be gracious to his fatherless children.
13 Let his ^lposterity be ^{▼▼ Lit for cutting off}cut off;
In a following generation let their ⁿname be blotted out.

14 Let ^othe iniquity of his fathers be remembered ^{▼▼ Lit to}before the Lord,
And do not let the sin of his mother be ^qblotted out.
15 Let ^rthem be before the Lord continually,
That He may ^scut off their memory from the earth;
16 Because he did not remember to show lovingkindness,
But persecuted the ^tafflicted and needy man,
And the ^udespondent in heart, to ^vput them to death.
17 He also loved cursing, so ^wit came to him;
And he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him.
18 But he ^xclothed himself with cursing as with his garment,
And it ^yentered into ^{▼▼ Lit his inward parts}his body like water
And like oil into his bones.
19 Let it be to him as ^aaa garment with which he covers himself,
And for a belt with which he constantly ^abgirds himself.
20 ^{▼▼ Lit This is}Let this be the ^adreward of my accusers from the Lord,
And of those who ^aespeak evil against my soul.
